Worthing House

Worthing House is a traditional Georgian property dating from the late 1700’s, centrally located between Dereham and Fakenham and close to the larger village of North Elmham, Worthing House is ideally situated to serve central, west and north Norfolk as well as Norwich.

Originally Worthing House was one of two public houses in the village and was known as The Swan.

Worthing village is approached off the main B1145 Elmham road over the river bridge and rests on the side of the River Black Water.

The village origins date back to Saxon and Roman times.

The village is home to one of Norfolk’s oldest round tower churches dating back to the 9th Century. The church is open and holds 2 services per month on the 2nd & 4th Sunday.
